Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to all use of HelloProxies proxy services, dashboard and APIs (the “Service”) and forms part of our Terms of Service. The Service exists for legitimate business purposes — ad verification, QA and application testing, market research, SEO monitoring, localized browsing, compliant social media management, e-commerce testing and brand protection. If your intended use is not lawful and above-board, this is not the service for you.

1. Prohibited activities

You must not use the Service, directly or indirectly, for or in connection with:

• Illegal activity of any kind under any applicable law, including the laws of your location, our location and the location of any target system;
• Hacking or unauthorized access — accessing, probing or scanning systems, networks or accounts without authorization, exploiting vulnerabilities, or distributing malware;
• Credential stuffing, brute-force attacks, password spraying or any other attempt to gain access to accounts that are not yours;
• Spam — sending unsolicited bulk messages of any kind (email, SMS, social, forums, comments) or operating infrastructure that supports it;
• Fraud — payment fraud, carding, affiliate fraud, ad-click fraud, phishing, identity theft or any deceptive scheme intended to obtain money, goods or data;
• Account takeover or trafficking in compromised accounts, sessions, cookies or credentials;
• Fake reviews and fake engagement — posting fabricated reviews, ratings, votes, followers, likes or other manufactured social proof;
• Ban evasion — circumventing suspensions, blocks or other enforcement actions imposed on you by a third-party platform;
• Abusive automation — bots or scripted activity that violates a third-party service’s terms of use, overwhelms a target with traffic, or evades technical controls such as rate limits and CAPTCHAs for abusive ends;
• CSAM — any creation, access, storage or distribution of child sexual abuse material. This is reported to the relevant authorities without exception;
• Harassment — stalking, doxxing, threats or any targeting of individuals intended to intimidate or harm.

2. Your responsibility on third-party platforms

A dedicated mobile IP does not change the rules of the services you access. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your activity complies with the terms of service, robots directives and applicable rules of any third-party website or platform. We make no guarantee that any particular activity is permitted on any third-party platform, and we are not responsible for enforcement actions those platforms take against your accounts or traffic.

3. Know-your-customer (KYC)

We may require identity verification before or during service for customers, orders or usage patterns we consider higher risk. Declining or failing verification may result in refusal of service, suspension or termination.

4. Abuse reports

We accept and investigate abuse reports from anyone. If you have observed abusive activity originating from our network, report it via the contact page or email abuse@helloproxies.com with the IP address, timestamps (with timezone) and any relevant logs. Reports are reviewed by our trust & safety team and acted on where warranted.

5. Enforcement

We monitor for indicators of abuse and act on credible complaints. Violations of this AUP result in suspension or termination of the Service without refund, at our sole discretion and without prior notice where the situation requires it. We cooperate with law enforcement and may preserve and disclose relevant records in response to valid legal process.

6. Changes

We may update this AUP as threats, laws and carrier requirements evolve. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
