Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data HelloProxies (“we”, “us”) collects when you use our websites, dashboard, APIs and proxy services (the “Service”), how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Data we collect

Account data

When you register we collect your email address, a hashed password, and any optional profile details you provide. If we request identity verification for high-risk usage, we collect the documents and information you submit for that purpose.

Billing data

We keep records of your orders, subscriptions, invoices, wallet transactions and payment status. Card details are collected and processed by Stripe and never touch our servers; we receive only payment tokens and transaction metadata. For cryptocurrency payments we record the transaction identifiers needed to credit your account.

Usage and service logs

We log dashboard and API activity (such as logins, IP rotations, credential changes and support tickets) along with timestamps and the IP address from which the action was performed. For the proxy service itself, we maintain operational records — such as connection metadata and the IP addresses that authenticated to a proxy — where technically available, to operate the network, enforce our Acceptable Use Policy and respond to abuse reports. We do not inspect or store the content of your proxied traffic.

2. How we use data

  • Providing, provisioning and billing the Service;
  • Customer support and service notifications;
  • Detecting, investigating and preventing fraud and abuse;
  • Complying with legal obligations and valid legal requests;
  • Improving reliability and performance of the platform.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising.

3. Processors and sharing

We share data only with service providers necessary to run the Service: Stripe (card payments), our cryptocurrency payment processor, our transactional email provider (account and billing emails), and our hosting infrastructure providers. Each processor receives only the data required for its function. We may disclose data where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to investigate abuse of the Service.

4. Retention

Account and billing records are retained for as long as your account is active and thereafter as required for tax, accounting and legal purposes. Operational and abuse-related logs are retained for a limited period appropriate to network security and complaint handling, then deleted or anonymized. You may request deletion of your account; we will remove personal data not subject to a legal retention requirement.

5. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@helloproxies.com from the email address on your account.

6. Cookies

We use a single first-party session cookie to keep you signed in to the dashboard, and a local preference for your light/dark theme. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

7. Security

Passwords are stored hashed, API keys can be rotated at any time, and access to production systems is restricted and audited. No system is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data we will notify you as required by applicable law.
